Harveys Cheese Expert Jonathan has curated his new festive showstoppers for 2025 featuring ve British and ve Continental cheeses for you to enjoy. Using his knowledge as the International Cheese and Dairy Awards UK Ambassador and his nineteen years’ cheese industry experience, he has sourced cheeses that will delight you and your Christmas guests. Two showstopper cheeses that are certainly worth a mention are the scooping Gorgonzola from Italy; a cow’s milk cheese that is silky smooth, with a milky sweet richness, and subtle winey tang from the blue. is is at the very top of the Christmas trend tree and it is simply heaven! e second is Cheesemakers Special from Sussex, this cheese has a unique blend of milk from four di erent cow breeds – Swiss Brown, Jersey, Norwegian Red and Holstein. is combination with a minimum maturing of ten months develops a rmness like a Gouda with a avour pro le reminiscent of hard Swiss cheeses. Cheesemakers Special has caramel undertones, which is creamy to taste with a depth of avour and a delicate crunch of natural crystals. Father Christmas will make special appearances on Saturday 22nd November, and again on Saturday 6th December.
