Having previously raised over £19,000, on 26th July a heart screening session was held in Totton where 105 youngsters between the ages of 14 and 35 were screened with ECG and Echo tests, at a cost of £10,000. A second screening day is already planned for 18th July 2026. Sue is continuing to raise money for more screening events, in September she held a fundraiser at Empire Hall in Totton, where £2,500 was raised. She was recently nominated for a Pride of Britain Award and made it to the top 4 nalists for the South West Region, with ITV Meridian lming at Sue’s September fundraiser and interviewing her about her fundraising work. “We are very grateful for all the love and support we have received, heart screening is really important - it saves lives.” comments Sue.
