Clients and friends of the rm came together in teams to compete for the prize of several bottles of prosecco. Kate Browning the Regional Fundraising Manager of Honeypot said: “We are incredibly grateful to all the staff at Quantuma and particularly Sarah Grant who went to the efforts of organising the whole event. It’s through the support of corporate partnerships with companies such as Quantuma and their fundraising efforts, that really help Honeypot provide our services to our young carers. The quiz night managed to raise over £2,000, which is a fantastic amount and enough to support four young carers for a whole year with Honeypot. Thank you so much to everyone who attended and supported the event.” Honeypot provide respite breaks and on-going outreach support to young carers and vulnerable children aged 5–12 years old. Honeypot has a stunning house in the New Forest, with seven acres of grounds with a pool, basketball court, football pitch, private woodland, lake, art studio and so much more. e children go to Honeypot House for annual respite breaks, as well as receiving a birthday card, a Christmas present and 3 visits from the Honeypot Play Team in their local community each year. is takes two million pounds a year to continue to run, and Honeypot receive no government support, and so are completely reliant on the kindness of their supporters. If you would like to visit Honeypot House, please contact Kate Browning at kate@honeypot.org.uk Quantuma Quiz for Honeypot Charity HALLOWEEN TREAT TRAIL Businesses in Hythe are coming together this Halloween to create a Half Term Halloween Treat Trail on Thursday 31st October from 4pm until 6pm. e Treat Bags, which costs £2.50 and contain the instructions for the trail, can be bought from Jane Bidwell Flowers, Toys Ahoy and Harveys from Saturday 26th October. Over 30 shops and businesses will be taking part on the night by decorating their windows and o ering a sweet treat for the children. All proceeds from the sale of the bags will go to the Hythe Christmas Lights fund. Hythe Library will be hosting a Treasure Hunt during the day.
