Trinity Church Totton Christmas Messy Church Sunday Services Every year St John’s Church in Hythe like to inform the local community of their church service times in the most angelic of ways. As we get nearer to Christmas many readers will nd knitted angel keepsakes hidden Cornerstone Youth Club will now be running fortnightly on Friday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.00pm for young people age 11-18. ere will be a variety of activities; cra s, cooking, games along with table tennis and snooker, or just chill and chat in the newly refurbished youth lounge. Youth Bible Study Group has now re-started, also meeting fortnightly on Friday evenings from 7.30pm to 9.30pm in the youth lounge for chat, Bible study and prayer. is is for young people ages 14-18 who wish to learn more about being a Christian through studying God’s word together, in a relaxed and fun way. Every 2 weeks on a Tuesday morning from 9.30am -12noon there’s a great Table Top Sale at Cornerstone Hythe URC in New Road. ere is always a great selection of Electricals, Jewellery, Collectables, Kitchenware, Glassware, Bags, Toys, Puzzles, Bric- a-brac and an extensive library of Paperback Books, CDs, and DVDs. All proceeds go to the Cornerstone Outreach Fund supporting mission and outreach locally, in the UK and overseas. Upcoming sales are on Tuesdays 30th November and 14th December . Co ee, tea, and biscuits are always available in the Foyer too! TABLE TOP SALES Cornerstone Youth in Hythe Woolly Angels around the local area with service times attached. e church aim to give away 750 of these little wonders and are calling for keen knitters to get involved. So far this year they have approximately 300 angels, thanks to the hard work of volunteers. A special mention must go out to the wonderful Joyce who is 100 years young and has been kindly knitting at stitching angels for the church for over 3 years. Joyce lives independently, cooking all her own meals and is an absolute inspiration to everyone at the church; they really wouldn’t know what to do without her! Do you have spare DK wool you would like to donate? Are you as keen knitter and have time on your hands? If so then please pick up at pattern, or drop wool o to the church on Wednesday mornings.
