Well done EVERYONE! To impress us even more, a lot were floral foam free! Some used sand, orchid tubes, wire, sticks, for example, as mechanics - much more environmentally friendly! Money was placed in front of favourite designs and, this time, money raised went to our club; as all clubs, it has been a financially challenging year. e winner of Show Night was Brenda Kirby, Brenda received a gorgeous trophy, as did second prize, won by Maggie Fulker - many, many congratulations Ladies! We had our re drill before refreshments, which was timed and assessed. Amazing, quick response by all attendees and feedback to make minimal adjustments if there was a real re. A er refreshments were games - card bingo and 2 quizzes! A precious, fun evening, long- awaited for! Mid October was our rst “real” committee meeting since the beginning of the pandemic - very exciting! Our Chairlady had many fantastic suggestions, and a list was chosen to start booking events for the programme for next year. is is looking creative, inspirational, and entertaining. Our Christmas Evening will be Thursday 2nd December , 7.30pm , at Copythorne Parish Hall, SO40 2NZ. Christmas jumpers are nearly compulsory! ere will be a demonstration of a seasonal door swag and a table decoration, plus fun games, and a ra e. Other outings and demonstrations were discussed, and we eagerly await con rmation of bookings for the nal programme. Next meeting: Thursday 4th December , 7.30pm , Copythorne Parish Hall, SO40 2NZ.
