Hythe Spiritualist Church Independent invites you to join them every Friday evening 7.30pm to 9pm at Hythe Community Centre, Brinton Lane, Hythe, for a divine service of mediumship and clairvoyance. ere is no charge for the evening, but donations are accepted. SUNDAY SERVICES Every 2 weeks on a Tuesday morning from 9.30am to 12noon there’s a great Table Top Sale at Cornerstone Hythe URC in New Road. ere is always a great selection of Electricals, Jewellery, Collectables, Kitchenware, Glassware, Bags, Toys, Puzzles, Bric- a-brac and an extensive library of Paperback Books, CDs, and DVDs. All proceeds go to the Cornerstone Outreach Fund supporting mission and outreach locally, in the UK and overseas. Upcoming sales are on Tuesday 24th May and Tuesday 7th June . Co ee, tea, and biscuits are always available in the Foyer too! TABLE TOP SALES Trinity Church Hythe Spiritualist Church Independent St John’s Church, Marchwood St John’s is pleased to be open for worship every Sunday at 10am for Holy Communion and on the last Sunday of each month for Village Praise, which is an informal service for all the family. Music at Beaulieu On Saturday 14th May , Music at Beaulieu presents the Orion Trio whose programme will include music by Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Coleridge–Taylor, Fletcher, Bach/Gounod and Elgar. e Trio’s pianist is Paul Searle-Barnes who, when he was living near East Boldre, occasionally played the organ for services at Beaulieu Abbey Church. Piotr Kopec plays the violin and David Norton the cello. Each year Music at Beaulieu awards scholarships to one or two talented young musicians who live in the New Forest area. e Awards Concert features current and past winners and nalist candidates for the awards. is year’s concert takes place on Saturday 11th June and they listen to music of the performers’ choice Music at Beaulieu concerts are held at Beaulieu Abbey Church and start at 7pm: doors will open at 6.30pm. ey are pleased to announce that masks are now optional and that they are able to re-introduce longer concerts with an interval. MUSIC IN ROMSEY A Musical Celebration with Ann Turner and Friends e next concert in Romsey Abbey takes place on Saturday 21st May at 7.30pm for Virtuoso Classics with Nova Foresta Classical Players. Go along and hear the exciting piano concerto No. 2 by Saint-Saëns played by virtuoso pianist Valentina Seferinova. Paul Ingram takes the baton for Mendelssohn’s Hebrides Overture and Beethoven’s rst Symphony. On Saturday 11th June at 7.30pm for Magni cent Bach with Bournemouth Bach Choir and Orchestra. Bach: Mass in B Minor. On Friday 1st July ay 7pm for Romsey Festival of Youth Music - Schools Choir Festival. Joyful choral music from local schools. It will be in aid of the Hope Gardens in Tamil Nadu, Southern India. Hope Gardens is the charity linked to the Christian facility, Rhema Garden, based in Cumbum, Tamil Nadu. is charity has a range of activities supporting the local community, and has been supported by St Andrew’s Church in Dibden Purlieu for many years. e concert will consist of a variety of musical styles including some pieces from musical theatre and a chance for you to join in! ere will be a range of items including piano duets and vocal music in the form of solos, duets and ensembles. You will also be able to hear more about the charity during the evening. ere is no charge for tickets for the concert but there will be a retiring collection which will be used totally in support of the charity.
