At the ceremony, held at the DoubleTree Hilton in Southampton, West Cli Hall was also awarded for Best Financial Performance, Most Promising Award and Facebook Post of the Year. Residents, family members, visitors and team members across all Hartford Care’s homes, as well as the team from head o ce, voted for their winners by lling in a nomination form. Once all votes were collected, the directors at head o ce had the tough job of choosing the winners from all the nominations and comments provided. Sian Berry, Senior Care Assistant, was the proud winner of the Most Promising Award. Sian is currently undertaking a Nursing Associate course at Winchester University and is working part-time at West Cli Hall as part of her studies. Nominations described her as “An asset to West Cliff Hall” and agreed “She will make an amazing home manager in the future”. Activity Coordinators Jenny Crouch and Jess Wells won the award for Facebook Post of the Year for their superb Halloween video, created in collaboration with the residents, which included a creative rendition of the ‘Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ with new lyrics to suit life at West Cli Hall. e video has over 3,300 views and has achieved more than 200 likes and shares on the social media page. West Cli Hall Home Manager, Aga Gierek-Tan says: “I am incredibly proud of our fantastic team. We pride ourselves on our excellent care and ‘home from home’ atmosphere, and to receive such kind nomination their own reputation locally, they have also supported various other homes throughout the year.
