A breeze block held the first arrangement, a vertical design featuring beautiful cerise pink gerberas, pale pink carnations and pale pink roses. e green material featured snake grass, fatsia leaves and hedera. A really striking arrangement. An exotic design in a rattan stand was next, featuring bamboo, phoenix palm leaves and choisya. A beautiful cymbidium orchid accompanied by orange gerberas and green chrysanthemums made for a striking arrangement. is arrangement even featured gold pineapples (not for eating!). A bamboo pot from a well-known Swedish shop came next with yellow calla lillies called gold medal and peach roses called miss piggy. Greenery included phoenix palms, fatsia leaves and conifer. A very pretty design. Gill’s husband made a container replicating a tree trunk including a fairy door and Robin complete with nest. An attractive woodland feel for this design with lots of greenery, white statys and orange gerbera. Finally there was a metal stand with phoenix palms, fatsia japonica, folded aspidestra leaves, leather leaf ferns accompanying cerise gerberas and small green anthurium. A stunning design and to the amazement of the audience the stand was turned upside down and a small version placed on top. Hythe Flower Club so enjoyed Gill’s visit and hope to welcome her in the future.
