So, if you’re a young person and are interested to nd out more about golf then why not give it a go? ‘Girls Golf Rocks’ and “Get into Golf Rookies” is the perfect opportunity! Here’s what you need to know… BHGC will be holding a ‘Girls Golf Rocks Day and Rookies Camp’ on 28th May for youngsters aged 10 to 18 years old. 16 places will be available. Following the Day Camp two further ‘Morning ‘Girls Golf Rocks’ is an exciting initiative by England Golf that encourages girls aged 5 to 18 to learn and play golf in a fun and friendly way. ‘Get into Golf Rookies’ runs alongside “Girls Golf Rocks” and this encourages boys to pick up a golf club and have a go too. Bramshott Hill Golf Club (BHGC) Junior section based at Dibden Golf Centre together with MyTime Active who run Dibden Golf Centre and Nathan Cook, a local pro, is one of the clubs across the country opening up their doors to welcome and encourage young girls and boys to give golf a try and who knows, Camps’ will be held on 1st August and 8th August for 5 to 12 year olds. 12 places are available for the two half days. Young people will need to attend both morning camps. If you have your own golf clubs then perfect, bring them along. If you don’t, don’t worry, equipment can be provided.
