Successful Coffee Morning On ursday 9th June the Healthy Haven Garden had a co ee morning as part of the National Growing for Wellbeing Week. e volunteers at the garden invited Sophie Warland from Maggie’s Garden at Southampton General Hospital (SGH) and Maureen from the Hythe group of Wessex Cancer Trust, some members of the public also attended. ey all talked together about their own charities and thought it was a great idea to get together and spread the word about their own causes. Maggie’s Southampton Left to right Two members of the public, Helen a garden volunteer, Sophie from Maggie’s Garden and Maureen from the Cancer Trust is a cancer support centre based at University Hospital Southampton. e centre supports people living with cancer, their family members, children and others close to them across Southampton, Hampshire, Dorset, West Sussex and the Channel Islands. e sta provide them with free advice, guidance and much needed emotional support. e opening hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm and you do not need to book an appointment to go in.
