Certi cates were awarded for 3 years to 20 years of Volunteering across all their services, CEO Teresa Blakey said: “We are so thankful for all the time and dedication our Volunteers give to Age Concern New Forest, and we truly could not run all our services without all our wonderful volunteers.” Dot Chapman was awarded Volunteer of the Year for 2023 for all her time and commitment given to their Black eld Charity Shop. Christine Yehia was awarded Volunteer of the Year 2023 for the Waterside Goodneighbours Service and also for completing the most tasks (85) during the year. Waterside Goodneighbours also celebrated 15 years since the Service was originally set up by Jackie Abery. 4 original Volunteers, who are still volunteering, received their 15 year awards. Copythorne Parish Pickers have collected over a staggering 2,500 large bin bags of litter from within Copythorne Parish over the last 4 years. As well as trying to keep their local area free from the litter that they do nd, the Parish Pickers are also passionate about ghting the cause of the litter. For more information and details about how to join the Parish Pickers please visit: parishpickers.co.uk PARISH PICKERS HIT 10 TON MILESTONE Copythorne Parish Pickers Lions and Donkeys at Nomansland Fayre Romsey and Waterside Lions attended this year’s Nomansland Village Fayre which is held to raise money for the local Scouts. e weather was dry and warm despite being overcast and encouraged a large turnout. e Lions took along their popular key box game and had several £5 winners. ey also had some keen-eyed donkey visitors that circulated around the stall, showing a great interest in the bric-a-brac!
