All activities take place in the Green Room at the Plaza Theatre in Romsey, SO51 8JA, on a Friday morning from 10.30am to 12.30pm. Anyone with a Dementia is welcome to go along with their relative/carer. Where appropriate, activities can be adapted for any stage of Dementia or ability. Limited parking is available behind the Theatre, and entry is by the side door, up the ramp. A £4 charge per person covers all activities and tea/coffee — first ‘Arts & Crafts’ session is free, so you can find out if it is a suitable activity. Some COVID-precautions remain in place for your added safety. Places are, therefore, limited so booking is essential. Forget-me-not Singing Club Forget-me-not Singing Club is a fun and friendly singing club for people living with dementia. The club is led by folk singersongwriter and Natural Voice trained choir leader, Amy Hopwood and runs on Fridays from 2pm to 3.30pm at Brockenhurst Methodist Church Hall, Avenue Road, Brockenhurst, SO42 7RT. The club is aimed at people living with dementia and their friends, relatives and carers, but anyone else who just fancies a good sing is very welcome to join too. Each session is £3 per person including free tea/ coffee and biscuits.
