I am a student at Brockenhurst College, and along with 20 others, I have successfully been selected to take part in the Brock2Kenya charity project. Whilst in Kenya, I will take part in activities such as supporting teachers, building, painting, cleaning, and other similar maintenance tasks to help develop the schools which teach children from 3-15 years old. During my time in Nakuru, I will be visiting some of the poorest areas whilst mainly supporting the Melon Mission School (non-pro t charity) that provides Kenyan street children with food, clothing, and education. I will be using the time between now and October to fundraise for this project and I will be running various fundraising events over the next year. e purpose of the fundraising is not only to fund the trip to enable me to volunteer at these schools but also to directly contribute towards their charity funding. I currently have three key areas of fundraising which I am working hard on and hoping that the readers of e Herald would be able to support me in one of the following fundraising activities. 1. Easy fundraising - I have created an easy fundraising page which can be used straight away. You can download and/or visit the page every time you make an online purchase. at way I will receive a donation Motor Museum, Amazon re TV stick, Sunday lunch for two at South Lawn hotel, Google mini home and many more!!
