She is a former English teacher, a former business owner and a former lecturer. ‘Former’ is a big thing for her. Having grown up in Essex, Sam has since migrated to the south coast where she lives with her husband, two sons and dogs, Lettice and Ludo (also known as ‘the superfans’). When she is not working she can be found on the beach, contemplating the sea and dreaming of the career she could have had as a knife thrower’s assistant! Sam Fraser Waterside Boardgaming Relaunches Monthly Meets To Help Tackle Loneliness Connect through the joy of games by attending one of Waterside Boardgaming’s monthly events, which are relaunching in November, in a fully accessible venue. e monthly meets kick o on Sunday 16th November, 2pm–7pm, at St Andrew’s Church in Dibden Purlieu, with free parking at the front of the church or at the rear in Oak Road. or choose from the free-to-play library, they have a great range of games suitable for all ages and preferences. Every event will include a game ra e and a bring and buy table, where you can buy or sell games on the day. Waterside Boardgaming have recently partnered up with Waterside Primary Care Network as Patient Champions with a view to helping tackle isolation and loneliness on the Waterside.
