Or perhaps you do not have a Will but know that you should stop putting it o . As a local charity, Minstead Trust relies on voluntary giving and gi s in Wills are an important part of this – making its work supporting adults with learning disabilities to lead con dent lives possible. Between the 20th and the 24th October, Minstead Trust will be running a focused social media campaign highlighting the di erence that gi s in Wills can make to their work. It will also be showcasing some examples of people who have chosen to pledge a gi in their Will, along with stories of people who have sadly died but their legacy is still having an impact today. Minstead Trust has a free Will o er, and so if you have yet to write your Will, you can create one online securely, which is checked by solicitors - the anticipation being that in bene ting from a free Will you will remember Minstead Trust in some way within your Will. Gi s of all sizes can have an impact on the charitable work of the Trust. Tricia said about pledging a gi in her Will to Minstead Trust: “I feel that leaving a sum of money in my Will to Minstead Trust will help, and continue the wonderful work here, to really help people to continue to flourish and achieve their potential”. Another supporter expressed the feeling that a “Weight has been lifted from my shoulders now I have my Will sorted”. As many local people know, Minstead Trust runs several social enterprises, such as Furzey Gardens, which is an inspiring and special garden open to the public. If you wished to remember a particular area of the Trust, such as the gardens, you can do so with an expression of wish in your Will. Minstead Trust would always aim to take your wishes into account, so that your legacy lives on in the special way you would like. Everyone’s circumstances are di erent and therefore di erent options exist to ensure your needs are met.
