SAVE THE DATE All Saints Church in Fawley will be hosting their annual Christmas concert on Saturday 29th November at 7pm. is year, local groups Burnt Toast and the Melody Makers will provide performances. Special Services At St John’s Hythe from The Parish of Hythe We have a number of special services coming up at St John’s Church. Please do come and join us if you are able to. On Sunday 12th October we have a Combined Morning Service with Baptisms and Con rmations at 10.30am. Please do come and support those people who are taking the step of faith to be Baptised and/or Con rmed. We are also looking forward to being joined by Bishop Geo for this service. Sunday 12th October is also your last chance to come and join our Evensong Service at 5.30pm before it takes a break over the winter months. Sunday 19th October will be our Harvest Festival and we will be celebrating Harvest at all three of our regular morning services. If you have little ones, then please come and join us for our Harvest Bubble Church at 9.30am. We then have a short Morning Worship Service at 10.15am and our Holy Communion Harvest Celebration at 11.15am. At all of our harvest services we will be collecting tins and other non-perishable items for Waterside Foodbank. On Sunday 2nd November we have our annual All Souls Service of anksgiving and Commemoration at 5.30pm. is will be a quiet service of re ection and thanksgiving where people will have the opportunity to remember their loved ones who are no longer with us and light a candle. Due to the large numbers expected at this service, there will also be an over ow congregation in St John’s Hall and we plan to relay the service outside as well. Can You Help To Knit Some Woolly Angels? Every year St John’s Church in Hythe like to inform the local community of their church service times in the most angelic of ways. At the beginning of December the church give away little hand cra ed angel keepsakes along with their Christmas service times attached. e ‘Angel Lady’ Sue Blomley is asking for anyone who enjoys knitting, crocheting or sewing to get involved. If you are able to help you can pick up a pattern from e Herald O ce. Please drop all nished angels o to the Church or Hall o ce. Can you help to make some angels?
