The Hampshire Online Business Course will be provided by the Pop Up Business School, aiming to help people looking to take the rst step in turning their business ideas into a reality, new start ups and entrepreneurs. The week-long online course - running from 7th to 11th December - brings residents across Hampshire together to discover practical ways to run a business, as well as teaching them how to adapt and be more resilient in these di cult times. Councillor Michael Harris OBE, Portfolio Holder for Economic Development at New Forest District Council says: “ I encourage any New Forest residents considering setting up their own small business or who are looking to develop their business skills to register for this free course. By working with our neighbouring authorities, we are able to provide this innovative way to both start and maintain a business” The neighbouring local authorities of New Forest, Test Valley, Eastleigh, East Hampshire, and Havant have come together to ensure that learning and networking opportunities are available for residents across the county. This collaboration means that the course can be delivered free of charge to all attendees. e course is broad and covers topics such as sales and marketing - including advice on how to set up a website for free - as well as the professional considerations all businesses must take around tax and legal issues.
