At present, we are reliably open from 10am to 12noon every Tuesday and as more volunteers come on line, we hope to increase this to include Saturday mornings and possibly ursday mornings as well. We are making progress in reducing our records to re ect only the Waterside. is will allow us to access the walls to undertake much-needed decoration later in the year. In the meantime, we are preparing for an Open Day from 10am to 4pm on Monday 1st May. At this, we hope to display some recently acquired drawings by our late Vice-President Colin Mudie of his time working at the British Powerboat Company in Hythe during the war. We shall also have surplus books – some for sale and some to give away – as well as tea or co ee and cake. We are also making plans to acquire a high speed scanner for our brilliant archivist, John Watkins, so that we can make our records available online. So do come to see us.
