Dogs for Health is a registered charity providing trained volunteers and dogs to visit and support people within the community. e dogs and volunteers receive training and assessments to enable them to safely visit and allow people to share in the NEW FOREST (EAST) PROBUS CLUB APRIL MEETING e New Forest (East) Probus Club held their April meeting at the Dibden Golf Club on ursday 20th April. President Henleywelcomed18members (one being a retired founder member rejoining), one guest, and one prospective member to the 408th meeting, No major illnesses or major Hospitalisation of members were reported. e Speaker’s Secretary summarised the planned Speakers for the next 12 months. No comments were made by the members to the Treasurer’s report. Future events planned for the Club were: Co ee morning at Gin’s Farm RSYC 14th July; Visit to Exxon Mobile Petro Chemical Plant, (date to be con rmed); Visit to a cra Brewery near Alton; Co ee morning in September at Holmsley Tea Rooms; Co ee morning at Walhampton Arms (tba); Lunch at MJ’s (Brockenhurst College) 10th November. e meeting concluded with a very informative, detailed and entertaining talk by Ron Taylor on the ‘Prostrate Gland’. Ron had a very detailed knowledge of this gland, (which he explained by way of his models), and its necessary function in the male body.
